FOTS (First On The Scene)
A short bystander/public safety course that teaches laypeople immediate life-saving actions until EMS arrives. Covers hands-only CPR/AED, naloxone, epinephrine auto-injector, bleeding control, and scene safety.
EPC (Emergency Pediatric Care)
A 16-hour course focused on critical pediatric physiology, illnesses, injuries, and field interventions. Designed to help EMS providers deliver high-quality care to sick and injured children.
TECC (Tactical Emergency Casualty Care)
A 16-hour course (with 8-hour refresher) for EMS and prehospital providers working in civilian high-threat or tactical environments. Covers care in Hot/Warm/Cold zones with emphasis on hemorrhage control and trauma interventions.
PEPL (Principles of Ethics and Personal Leadership)
A 16-hour course that develops ethical decision-making, professionalism, and leadership skills for EMS providers. Covers interactions with patients, families, colleagues, and the community.
BBN (Breaking Bad News)
A 3-hour course that teaches techniques for delivering difficult news (such as death notifications) to patients and families in the field. Uses discussion, experience sharing, and role-playing.
EVOS (EMS Vehicle Operator Safety)
An 8- or 16-hour course focused on safe emergency vehicle operation. Covers driver behaviors, hazards, legal aspects, and strategies to reduce ambulance crashes.
EMT Refresher
A 20-hour refresher course (virtual or classroom) that meets NREMT National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) requirements for EMT recertification. Uses NAEMT evidence-based content.
Paramedic Refresher
